Most laptops with that little external power adapter have 110-220 range meaning you can plug your cord into a little HK$10 adapter and be all set. In fact, if you wanted, you could take the black box to Wan Chai's computer center and buy a cord that would work in HK with your box for about $30HK or less.

If you are bringing a desktop then you need to double check the power capabilities. Some, like the new Apple IMac are 110-220, but only if bought overseas (the ones for sale in the USA are only 110).

You could also just buy a machine here and save the hassle of shipping...
