Well ladies, what about occupying your time with some volunteer work since you don't have to work? I come from a ritzy shee-shee-foo-foo area of the world and that's what the debutantes and socialites did. They enjoyed doing this as well because it allowed them to meet people and build a social circle of their own outside of their husbands' work colleagues and their wives. And the opportunities are endless from a battered housewive soup kitchen to fundraising for the local ballet company. What are your interests? Follow those. A good rule of thought as to where to volunteer is to go to anything that involves children, the elderly, the handicapped, the government, or the Arts. All of these socially necessary groups are always not-for-profit hence needing volunteers to make it happen.
And what about your own personal growth? Love the 'chillin' in the library' thing. That can be lonely. Why not take a class? You've got the time, don't need the degree, so no pressure to do well on exams! Just enjoy the information. There are plenty of universities around here, not to mention language schools. Learn the survival language of the next country you want to travel to on vacation. Or bone up on your English (I noticed some difficulties with it in your post). If you're a native speaker, EnglishforAsia hires people like you as consultants and tutors as freelancers. Easy schedule, still meeting people while doing something useful and hey, getting a little change on the side. Or what about fitness? If you like to work out, get certified as an instructor. Talk about meeting people!
Most importantly, create somewhat of a schedule for yourself. Find a REASON to get out of bed every morning and fodder for CONVERSATION with your husband in the evening. Otherwise, you'll begin running into problems beyond boredom.
Best of luck!
