I will go for it in 2007 unless my plans changed. I am a little further from finals than you (in my forties) so it won't be so easy for me!
Great that you can speak Cantonese. This will be a huge advantage when getting a job in government hospital afterwards. I think people have used other licensing exams textbooks, as otherwise you have no reference point and one cant learn all 5y of med school in one go. Knowing what is going to be asked (old papers) would be hugely helpful but I dont think theyre available.
Incidentally there is a website started by some HK docs on this subject, if you search. It was started as a reference point. There is a recommended texts section (I bough a lot of new textbooks from the list as mine were out-of-date anyway) but they are full textbooks eg Kumar and the thought of ploughing thru that doesnt appeal.
