I think calling cards are available in 7-11 and other stores but you can get more choices in TST. There is a small shop on Middle Rd, not sure about name but near to TST Post office. There are shops in Chung King mansion also. Regarding connection, i do agree sometimes its annonying and you may need to keep trying but some cards are good. Yes, i did use some of them and not too bad. Not sure about current rates but if you go there and ask them, they will suggest you a good one based on customer response. Try it yourself once its really cheap compared to all other options, just keep in mind about lapse time, they are tricky about it. So, some of my friends prefer to finish the card in one shot..
