| | Looking to expand my social network Hi everyone...
After another night of the usual stuff (d-i's party last night), I suddenly felt tired of the whole club and bar scene (maybe it's just Boy George...then again I've been in HK far too long I guess ). Wanting...heck, NEEDING...to expand and possibly meet interesting peeps out there to do OTHER fun things beside going up and down Wyndham or LKF on weekends!
I don't know...any fun things we can do? Hiking, camping, just hanging out by the ocean maybe and enjoy some stimulating conversation would be GREAT!
AND...any guys here play lacrosse (please...PLEASE!)? There's a thread somewhere here where the guys watched a rugby game. THAT even sounds interesting...anything BUT d-i, Volar, Drop or Halo, okay?
Thanks...would love to hear from you!

| | I know exactly how you feel. I've been disillusioned with the LKF scene recently. I actually spent the first few years of my life on Wyndham and I was born on HK Island, so I feel that gives my opinion a little more weight I've been learning Cantonese, working out and exploring HK instead. If you want to go exploring and try weird restaurants and stuff, let me know. I'd love to go hiking or biking at this time of year.
Oh yeah, spoke to a guy who went to the Boy George thing last night. He said the crowd was great and it was fun, but his friend ended up in a fight of sorts. Just another reason why I've decided to stop getting ripped off in LKF.

| | but? I've just been here for 8 months...
I still like it though
the partythings
Howevere I also like to do other stuff.
It can't be a 'fancy fair' every weekend...
I started playing basketball every saturday morning on Peng Chau island,
Biking or hiking are things I want to do as well!
Where can you hire bikes?
Or even buy them??
Does anyone know a good store?

| | | I still like partying too but it takes away my whole weekend and leaves a hole in my pocket.
A friend and I have also recently agreed to find new things to do which the end result is not a hangover. I like hiking too but I'd probably a slow biker =P
A lot of the outlying islands have bike rental shops which are quite easy to find. I know there's some in N.T. (Taipo, Tai Wai). I wouldn't mind exploring some of the islands.

| | Hey
It's exactly what i'm thinking now. Too much party in LKF make me sicked of it. I did party last nite there and i just feel bored of standard "Hip Hop" & dance music.
Need to do other things now.....let's go out for some other options, make your life better, not just live in the clubbing world.
If anyone like to have movies, live rock bands music, brunch, let me know.
I love talking with those interested ppl and i know some good place in Hung Hom, next to the seaside, with excellent seaviews.
Let's see what we can do here then. Anyone leave any contact here or hv some gathering first....to make ppl come together? How about tmr afternoon tea or something?

| | I'd love to go biking (at any pace) with anyone who's game. I was thinking about riding from Tai Wai today, but my brother decided to go shopping instead. I'll be free in a couple of weeks, so if anyone wants to rent a bike and just go cruising down the bike lanes out there, let me know! | |
