mobile phones in the cinema

Hi There,

Just wanted to know something about HK people. Everytime I go to the cinema I find that HK people cannot turn off their mobile phones, they play with them & even answer calls, this drives me nuts. Went and saw No Country For Old Men, and this guys mobile kept on ringing and answering it & having a conversation, but nobody was telling him to shut up except me. I ended up telling him that if he didn't turn off his mobile I would smash it, but no one in the cinema said anything. If this happened in my own country he would have had people all over him. Wht is the deal here? It seems to happen everytime I go to the movies
