Smile When is I Am Legend out at the movies?

Hey,

When is I Am Legend out a the cinema? I was hoping to go for my birthday on Friday, maybe at the IFC. Where can I find out what is showing there without having to make a trip down (I live in Tuen Mun).

Thanks for your help!

Thanks! When I tried to search for cinema listings, nothing useful came up.

Saw it on Sunday. It was OK. What did you think?

I did see it on Saturday (was a random pick).

It was OK. Pretty much a remake of "The Last Man on Earth" played by Vincent Price and later by Charlton Heston.

I still like the Charlton Heston one though.

Will Smith's performance is quite good IMHO.

It was fun to see an updated version, and I wish they had fleshed out the story a little bit more, as I would have liked to see how Smith's character dealt with the spread of the virus, etc. in the early stages.

I saw it on Saturday - I knew nothing about it except the title and that Wil Smith was in it.

I didn't think much of it at the time but after a few days thinking about it I quite liked it.

I agree they so should have fleshed out the story more. Wil Smith was good and the derelict New York imagery was amazing - really impressive.

We went to Broadway Circuit in Mong Kok - do not waste your money going there. Not enough slope on the floor, not enough sound proofing - you can hear everyone walking up to the other theatres constantly, felt like a major fire hazard in there and it was a really young fidgety audience, cell phones, late arrivals, people coming and going.

Larac, Tuen Mun City Plaza has brand new cinema's with the latest digital sound, and from what i hear, even better than the IFC cinema's.

Can't help you in regard to HK's inconsiderate cinema going crowds, unfortunately, culture strikes again .

Thanks for the heads up about the new Will Smith movie though, I look forward to watching that when it comes out on Blue Ray Disc.

Working in Tuen Mun we tend to avoid it like the plague on the weekend but maybe we should check it out next time. The Town plaza has really improved since we got here 2.5 years ago - we even have Starbucks now.
