Looking for a temporary job!
Hello everyone,
This is my first time using this forum, but it seems like a pretty neat place to find info. I'm just a freshman in university looking for a temporary job while I'm in HK. I know this is kind of late notice, but I've seen some other posts here by people around my age looking for some temp. job as well. I'm a pretty open person. I grew up in Vancouver mostly, but I'm originally from HK, my family as well. So my Cantonese and Mandarin is at a conversational level, while English is my native language. I also know some French, haven't practiced in a while, but I learned it in high school. I have a lot of volunteer experience. I'm looking for any job. I'll be around until August 22, 2010! Please contact me if you've got a job right for me! I'm kind of lost here, looking for the right job and place for myself. Kind of confused since HK is my home city, but I've never lived here.
P.S. Anyone know where I can buy skateboards/longboards? And I'm also looking for a place that teaches pottery, but hopefully in english? Is the Fringe club a good place, or a complete rip off? Also a good vinyl store? Instead of Ap Liu Street?
Thanks

Hi there,
You can get skateboards at 8Five2 Shop (8FIVE2SHOP) and evergreen skateboards (evergreenskateboards.com), you can check the location info on their respective websites, they are probably the two best skateboard shops here in HK. For variety and better prices, you might want to go to evergreen. Both are in Causeway Bay.
