Where is the best place to meet new people?

I have just moved to Hong Kong with my boyfriend and I am here for 3 months. I am keen to meet new people and perhaps take a course in something. I just wondered if anyone had any ideas for the best place to go?

Animal asia is always looking for volunteers in many areas.Look up their website to see if that is what you could do in your free time. You meet expats and locals which gives you a nice balance. Give them a call and ask for Phil or Keir. I am sure they will be more than helpful. Sandy
