March 10: Joint Business Community Budget Speech Lunch with Financial Secretary John Tsang

March 12: InvestHK Annual Cocktail for the Singaporean Community in HK Singapore’s Minister for Transport and also Second Minister for Foreign Affairs Mr Raymond Lim will be visiting HK from 11-14 Mar 2008, and will attend this reception to meet with Singaporeans during his visit.

Also: Camp Singapore 2008, organised by the Singapore International Foundation is here again! Sign up your child for a fun-filled week of activities to help them get to know Singapore. Acquaint your child with Singapore’s history, cultre and festivals celebrated by the different ethnic groups and local school life, through experiential learning and a host of fun indoor and outdoor activities. Date: 17 — 29 July 2008 [10 days (9 Weekdays + 1 Saturday)] Time: 9am — 5pm daily (non-residential)

Finally, The Singapore Chamber is seeking a Chamber Manager to manage the daily operation of the Chamber. The incumbent, preferably a Singaporean expatriate conversant with the business scenes in Singapore, HK and China, will carry the title of Manager. Experience in office management esp. in the areas of event organization, committee work, membership, accounts & finance, government relations and publications etc. preferred.
